Low Vision New Magnifiers at the Wixom Public Library

If you or someone you know struggles with reading because of low vision The Wixom Library can help! The Library’s new magnifier collection has a variety of sizes and strengths. They can be checked out for up to 3 weeks just like a Library book.

Computer Lessons/ Computer & Internet Availability

Computer Lessons
Are you a beginner who would like to learn the basics or and experienced surfer who would like to learn a few new pointers? Computer lessons are available on Mondays from 9 A.M. to 11 A.M. Please call the Community Center to schedule an appointment 248-624-0870.

Cost: $5    Registered Senior
          $10  Non-Registered Senior

Computer and Internet Availability
Two computer stations are available for seniors to use. They are internet accessible and are equipped with the Microsoft Office Software. Computer time and availability vary. Please call the Community Center at 248-624-0870.

*New users must agree to our computer user policy.

Transportation Program

The City of Wixom sponsors a "Senior Van Transportation Program" for Wixom seniors who are unable to drive to appointments, shopping areas and grocery stores. Click here to view options for the "Senior Transportation Program" .
